I’ve worked directly with the following forms of product evaluation:
- Performance: Dyno and in-vehicle testing
- Inspection: Quality control inspection and dimensional analysis (typically with a non-contact digitizer or CMM).
- Investigation: Failure analysis and materials testing (i.e. fatigue and chemical analysis).

Besides advanced composite materials and metallurgy, my background in Materials Science has allowed me to support products using revolutionary plastic materials. I have a thorough understanding of the full spectrum of bioplastics including manufacturing processes, environmental impact and proper disposal.
Here is an example of a 100% biobased, compostable (biodegradable) packaging product for Labcon North America.
